A Different Life: The Story of an Autistic Girl with an Extraordinary View of the World (DVD)

Rosie was diagnosed with autism at the age of three – she is now eleven. She had no speech or communication skills at all for the two years she spent at nursery and just one year at primary school. Now, through learning with her mum at home, Rosie’s speech has started to develop. But her life is a lonely one – she is taught at home and because she cannot communicate she has very few friends. Her closest ally is her brother, Josh, who is a year and a half older and has found his own way to communicate with Rosie. They play and fight like most brothers and sisters, but in a remarkable and unique way.
